Henry and his family immigrated to USA in 1868. Crossing of AtlanticOcean was by sail and took about 6 weeks. They settled in BuchananCounty, Iowa.

Naturallized on Sep 16th, 1875. Naturallization papers show name as"Henry Neibeck" from Prussia. His name was also spelled Neibeck in1880 Census.

Burial recorded in "Buchanan County Burial Records" ‎(Ancestry.com)‎ inaddition 2, lot 110. He is identified as ‎(Father)‎ Nibeck. Pauline, Huldaand Oscas are also buried at this plot. Grave site was located andphotographed. Headstone had fallen over, but has now been rebuilt.
