Show Details Shared Note: - Arthur Scoville lived in Boston where his first five children were born. Inthe fall of 1670 he moved to Middletown, CT, where he lived for the next8 years. Their first three children died young. At his wife's death he madea will living his property to his children, presumably in contemplation of asecond marriage.

By the second marriage he had a son and was living in Lyme, CT.

Later he tried to revoke the will with the result that at his death there wasdisagreement among the heirs as to the Middletown properties. Thedispute was settled by an arbitrator appointed by the governor.‎(Middletown Land Records, 2,170, dated March 2, 1706)‎.
