Frank Porter Sherwood attended Ohio State University. In July 1900, hebecame manager of the Central Union Telephone Company in Galipolis,Ohio. After his marriage, he moved to St. Louis, MO, where he wasemployed by the Bell Telephone Company as a draftsman. By 1926, hewas General Maintenance Engineer of the company. He was a member ofPilgrim Congregational Church and a 32 Mason. He compiled thegenealogy referred to as "Sherwood Family Data".
