Don served in the U. S. Navy from 1946 to 1948. He was stationed in thePhillipine Islands for most of his service.

Don worked in many jobs, including a stint as a Fuller Brush salesman. Helast worked for McDonald Douglas Aircraft as a qualitiy assurancerepresentative at various companies.

Don and his family lived in Kansas City, MO; Geneva, IL; Alamogordo, NM;St. Louis, MO and Pine Bluff, AK.

Don died of heart disease with diabetes complications.
