Alice Blanchard Jackson quoted oneof these studies in her booklet written in March 1949. However,genealogical research by the Blanchard Group, an Internet association ofdescendants of Thomas Blanchard, has documented the birth of Thomas'children in England and the death and burial of his first wife there.Research has established no genealogical tie of Thomas Blanchard toFrance; his last name is of French origin."
